This week in Science we enjoyed exploring the world of rocks. We went on a rock hunt and then used them to practice sorting. We sorted by many different properties: color, shape, texture, size, etc. Here are some pictures and videos from our fun rock explorations:
In Social Studies this week we learned about maps and how they use symbols to represent places or locations on a map. We created our own maps of two of our favorite stories using their settings as landmarks for our symbols. Then, we practiced retelling our stories just for you!
