Our First Grade friends were so kind to invite us to join them for their Fall Festival PBL. We enjoyed playing the games they created, while learning how to count and recognize money. We enjoyed another exciting event benefitting our Find Your Light Foundation service project this week--Candy Apples and Cartoons! We stayed after school and created a sweet treat, while being entertained by silly cartoons. We had so much fun with our friends and were so glad to get to help our service project, all while having a wonderful time! Here are some pictures from our amazing event! Enjoy!
This week in science we had a wonderful time exploring the world of heating and cooling. We even made a tasty treat during our studies. Who knew that science could taste so good!
This week we studied about fall and explored fall leaves. We went outside and collected fall leaves, and then, we participated in exciting learning games where we compared them and sorted them by shape and size. In addition, we worked on using adjectives to describe our leaves by making our own bubble map. Finally, on Friday, we took the time to be creative and used our leaf collections from outside to make leaf buddies. Here are some pictures from our leaf adventures. We hope you like them! Our Watson Wildcats stayed after school on Thursday to enjoy a Movie Night benefiting our Find Your Light Service Project. Our students had an awesome time enjoying Encanto and some tasty pizza. Not only did we have a wonderful time, but we were able to continue to add funds to our service project! Here are some sweet pictures from our fun afternoon together! We hope you enjoy them!
