Multicultural Night

This month we are celebrating Multicultural Night and the many amazing things that our Watson Wildcats bring to our school community and culture. We enjoyed celebrating all of the many cultures represented at our school through song, dance, delicious food, and unique crafts. Our Kindergartners partnered with our First Graders to perform an awesome musical number to "La Raspa," a traditional Hispanic song. Kindergarten played the music using homemade maracas and our First Graders performed a special dance. Check out the amazing videos and pictures that we have from this special night below:

Kindergarten and First Grade Performance

Fall Festival Hosted by First Grade

Our First Grade friends were so kind to invite us to join them for their Fall Festival PBL. We enjoyed playing the games they created, while learning how to count and recognize money. This made our day at school extra special! Thank you so very much for having us! Check out the fun in our pictures and videos below:

Comparing Quantities 0-10

This week in math we have been comparing quantities 0-10. We have played fun interactive games such as More or Less Spin. In each game, we compared quantities to see which one had more and which one had less. Check out the fun we had:

Transportation Projects

After studying our community, we thought that it would be fun to create our own new mode of transportation. As a home-school connection, our Kindergarten students made a new transportation vehicle at home and then presented them at school. Wow! Our Kindergarten students are so very creative. Here are some pictures we took to showcase their hard work. We hope you like it! Leave us a comment and let us know what you think!
