    We had a wonderful time exploring Country Critter's Farm where we were able to film and photograph the farm animals that we had been researching for our research projects. Counting Forwards and Backwards to Ten

  This week in Math we worked hard to master our report card skill--counting forward and backwards to ten. We made our own number cards and then practiced sequencing them forwards and backwards. Once we got really good at this game, we created our own count down rockets. We had so much fun counting that we could not wait to share these exciting activities with you! We hope you enjoy them: 

Maps and Globes

  In Social Studies this week, we have been studying about maps and globes. We have learned that maps are two dimensional and help you to travel from one town or state to another. In addition, we learned that globes are three dimensional and are helpful for international travel and learning about other countries. During our studies, we enjoyed creating puzzles of the United States and artistic creations of our Earth. Here are some fun pictures of our creations. We hope you enjoy them!

Music Around the World--A Christmas Edition--Week 3--Latin America

   What a fun day we had in our third day of Music Around the World--A Christmas Edition! We learned about Latin America and the exciting music that this country has to offer. We were introduced to two of their favorite instruments the guiro and the maracas. We also enjoyed two of their favorite songs, our Christmas song, "Feliz Navidad", and, a traditional Latin American song, "De Colores."
