Kindergarten Awards Ceremony

What an amazing day! We could not be more proud of our sweet students today. They have worked so very hard to learn so much this year. From reading and writing to solving math problems and learning to be good friends, this year has been full of wonderful experiences that we will never forget. We have had so much fun together this year going on virtual field trips, participating in project based learning experiences, and helping others through service projects. It is so hard to let our kids move on, but they are ready! I know that they are going to be fabulous First Graders! You have all been such a wonderful blessing to us this year! We wish you the best in First Grade! :)

Classroom Community

Our Kindergarten students and teachers are so very proud of the amazing classroom communities that our children built. During this class project based learning activity, our students learned that our community needed all different kinds of places, people, and things. We created five different categories of buildings that we needed. There were buildings for communication, safety, entertainment, health, and travel. Our students then chose a building that they thought was important and created it for our community. Then, we made a video on our iPads telling why that building was important to our community.
