Music Around the World STEAMSchool Day 7 and 8--England and Japan

This week in our Music Around the World STEAMSchool we enjoyed learning about England and Japan. We explored the Time for Kids website for each of these countries and learned about many unique places that they have to offer. In England, we learned that they enjoy having tea and saw amazing pictures of Big Ben. Then, we made tambourines and learned to play "London Bridges". Day 8: Japan--We really enjoyed seeing all of the exciting places that you could visit in Japan. We decided that one of our favorite things in Japan was the beautiful cherry blossom trees. We learned one of their favorite Japanese songs, "Sakura". This song celebrates their love for their special trees. Here is our celebration of "Sakura" and some pictures from day!
