Subtraction Smash

Oh! What fun we had this week being introduced to subtraction! We learned how subtracting means to remove some from the group and then find out how many are left over. We were also introduced to the minus sign, which means that you are finding the difference. We enjoyed playing subtraction smash where we wrote subtraction sentences and solved them by "smashing" our playdough game pieces. Here are some pictures from our exciting activity.
