Red Ribbon Week--Make Your Dreams Come True--Glow Night

This week we enjoyed dressing up each day for Red Ribbon Week. One of our favorite days was Friday where we wore our pajamas to school and talked about making our dreams come true. Then, we celebrated the fall season with our annual Glow Night where our Watson Wildcats enjoyed carnival games, tasty treats, and more Halloween candy than you can imagine. Thank you to our Watson MST PTA for making all of this possible for our kids. They had a wonderful time! :)

Music Around the World--A Christmas Edition--Week 3--Latin America

What a fun day we had in our third day of Music Around the World--A Christmas Edition! We learned about Latin America and the exciting music that this country has to offer. We were introduced to two of their favorite instruments the guiro and the maracas. We also enjoyed two of their favorite songs, our Christmas song, "Feliz Navidad", and, a traditional Latin American song, "De Colores." Check out our video from our fun day and some of our favorite pictures.

Find Your Light Movie Night

Our Watson Wildcats stayed after school on Thursday to enjoy a Movie Night benefiting our Find Your Light Service Project. Our students had an awesome time enjoying the original Aladdin movie and some tasty pizza.  Not only did we have a wonderful time, but we were able to continue to add funds to our service project! Here are some sweet pictures from our fun afternoon together! We hope you enjoy them!

Comparing Numbers 11-20

This week in math we have been comparing numbers 11-20. Throughout the week we played games where we had to decide how many groups of ten each number was made up of and how many ones. Then, we would compare these numbers to see which ones had the greater amount or the lesser amount.
