Merry Christmas

This week we have been studying Christmas and creating many different Christmas crafts in celebration of this holiday season. Some of our exciting projects included Rudolph made using our feet and hands, a countdown to Christmas bell, and edible Christmas trees.  We hope you enjoy the pictures from our fun week!

We culminated our fun week with an exciting Christmas party today! We had a great time enjoying our friends, eating great food, and enjoying Christmas songs.  Our kids had a wonderful time! I hope that you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! See you in January!

Gingerbread House Day

Wow! What an amazing day! We enjoyed an entire day celebrating the gingerbread man, and it was so much fun! :)

We started today with an exciting activity called "Disguise a Gingerbread Man." Our Watson Kindergartners dressed our gingerbread men in outfits to keep them from being a Christmas Eve snack when Santa stops by. Check out our videos of their costumes:

Finally, we culminated our fun day with Gingerbread House Day! We made gingerbread houses with our classmates, and Miss Todd was beyond impressed with the creativity that our houses showed! Here is a show and some pictures from these events! We hope you enjoy them!

Sharing and Caring Service Project

This holiday season we are talking about how it is important to give back to our community and to show kindness and love to others. In order to show our students how they can help to make a positive difference in our world, we have them be a part of real life experiences through service projects. Our Kindergartners were so excited to participate in our Sharing and Caring service project on Friday! They traveled to Brookdale Senior Living Center in our neighborhood virtually and spread Christmas joy and love through a Christmas musical. The residents really enjoyed their performance and have already invited us to return in person next year! We hope you enjoy our show. Leave us a comment and let us know what you think!
