This past week during our science unit we explored force and motion using magnets. We began our study by combining art and science and created unique abstract Valentine hearts using magnetic wands and marbles to paint. Then, we took the opportunity to explore with many different kinds of magnets. We learned that they could move in straight lines, up and down, round and round, and even in a zigzag motion. We also learned that magnets have a north and south pole and can either attract or repel each other. Here is a video of our magnet experiences. We hope you enjoy it!
